Newly weds called Will or Kate could get free travel insurance

Protect Your Bubble has announced that newlyweds that share a first name with the royal couple and are getting married on the weekend of the Royal Wedding (Friday 29th April – Sunday 1st May) will receive free travel insurance for their honeymoon if it is taken in May 2011.

Anybody with a William, Will, Kate or Catherine on their marriage certificate, or civil partnership, will receive insurance from the Protect Your Bubble covering them for emergency medical expenses of up to £10 million, whether they decide to take a tropical holiday or go on a more active honeymoon such as ski-ing, snowboarding or skydiving .

The specialist insurer has thrown down the gauntlet to Travelodge and is encouraging ‘Wills’ and ‘Kates’ to go on their honeymoons abroad after the UK hotel chain launched a special offer to tempt honeymooners to take a ‘staycation’ and remain in UK to eat fish and chips on their wedding night.
