Even though it is a simple task, many car owners are choosing to ignore the warning signs that their cars are dangerously low on oil and this could affect their car insurance rates.
Carcraft is advising motorists that if they ignore, or simply forget, that their needs topping up with oil, they may end up with expensive repair charges. The car sales firm wants to help tackle this problem and is offering to check oil levels for car owners who bring their vehicles to its showrooms during National Oil Check Week, which runs until June 19th.
Joe Conlin, group service manager for Carcraft, said: “It’s essential your car has sufficient oil if you want to avoid a hefty and unnecessary repair bill.”
