Esure is suggesting that with Spring approaching, customers cut their car insurance costs as part of a wider financial spring clean.
The insurer says that by shopping around online, consumers will be able to see if the renewal quotes being offered at this time of year are competitive and could help customers bring down the cost of their insurance .
Mike Pickard, head of risk and underwriting at esure car insurance, said: “Now is the perfect time to do some spring cleaning – not just to your home but all aspects of your household finances .”
A recent study by the AA found that the months leading up to April could be the best time of year to buy car insurance, as prices tend to be lower.
According to the AA, many insurers keep their prices fixed during the first quarter of the year in an attempt to win a bigger share of the renewals market.
