The UK’s leading rural insurance firm has moved its office from Bedale in North Yorkshire to the nearby city of Ripon following an increase in customer demand.
NFU Mutual’s change of headquarters mean the company now boasts a new and improved corporate image and it has better facilities that will be able to drive its future expansion plans forward.
According to Andrew Webster, senior agent for Bedale, Ripon and Nidderdale at the organisation, the modern premises will help the business to provide a better service for clients, members and its growing team of employees.
He added: “All of our staff are based in and around the area we serve and have a very good understanding of the needs and issues that affect those who live and work in the countryside.”
On top of the move, the office is hoping to take on two more members of staff to bring its workforce to ten people, with the plan to attract more potential employees as the firm progresses.
Last week, Marketing Week reported the company launched a new identity and website as part of a multi-million pound campaign to promote it as an alternative to impersonal competitors.
