People considering their travel insurance options when booking a holiday abroad should think about more policy aspects than price alone.
This is the suggestion of new research from MoneySupermarket, which has urged travellers to ensure they find adequate protection that covers all their individual needs.
Bob Atkinson, travel expert at the price comparison site, noted suitable deals can offer a safety net should anything unexpected happen while on a break overseas.
The industry figure stated: “For those fortunate enough to be jetting away this Easter, having the right travel insurance in place is essential to ensure peace of mind whilst away from home.”
There are a number of different aspects vacationers may wish to look out for when deciding upon an arrangement, including cover for medical and personal liability, cancellations, baggage and personal money and documents.
Mr Atkinson pointed out it is important people read and fully understanding the policy wording, while taking out a deal as soon as the trip is booked can ensure protection is in place regarding any circumstances that may prevent the holiday taking place.
