Budget Insurance has been named most improved provider at a UK customer satisfaction prize-giving event.
The company was handed the people’s choice gong at the Institute of Customer Service’s 2012 ceremony, which was held at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square.
Andy Bord, managing director of Budget Insurance, said it is highly gratifying for the firm to be recognised in such a way.
The industry figure explained the organisation has made great strides over the last 12 months in its efforts to bolster every aspect of the customer service it delivers.
As part of this drive, all call centre operations are being repatriated to the UK to make it easier for consumers to successfully use the service.
Mr Bord added: “We have already been rewarded with greater customer loyalty, but it is a fantastic boost to the team to be given a national award recognising how far we have come.”
The people’s choice trophies are handed out based on the views of 26,000 UK consumers and these viewpoints are used to formulate the UK Customer Satisfaction Index – a measuring stick that has been in operation for more than four years.
