Free pressure washer from Tesco Car Insurance

Tesco Car Insurance will be offering a free pressure washer to new customers, if they buy their policy before the 25th June 2008.

They will be presented with a voucher for a Karcher pressure washer, which can be redeemed online at Tesco Direct. According to the insurer, consumers buying their policy online can also receive a discount of up to 15 per cent.

Allan Burns, head of Tesco Car Insurance, said: "Washing the car can be a time-consuming hassle and the alternative options are not always cheap."

He added that as well as the pressure washer, new customers would stand to benefit from the standard features of its insurance policies, such as the choice of a guaranteed replacement car within three hours and legal cover worth up to £50,000.

Tesco have recently suggested that the government should provide drivers with incentives to opt for a green car .
