Santander has introduced a new car insurance offer that promises to drive down the cost of motoring for UK drivers.
The deal will see customers with a Santander 123 Current Account or 123 Cashback Credit Card enjoying a 20 per cent premium improvement, while existing arrangements will be beaten by ten per cent for all other eligible customers.
It means Santander 123 users could save an average of £122, based on a typical annual renewal premium of £609, while all other Santander customers can save £61.
Richard Al Dabbagh, head of insurance marketing at the bank, said: “It pays to be a Santander 123 customer. We’re always looking to go the extra mile and offer our customers products that offer real value – and help them save money.”
Mr Al Dabbagh noted the provider is also offering three per cent cashback for petrol station spend for individuals with a 123 Cashback credit card, which should further help to reduce motoring costs for UK drivers in autumn.
The car insurance offer includes some eligibility criteria, however, including an inclusive age range of 23 to 75.
