Confused.com has unveiled a new van insurance promotion for customers who purchase protection via the site.
The portal revealed it is to give away free breakdown cover worth £59.99 with any such policies bought in this way, with the offer running from today (June 6th) until July 31st.
As part of the deal, users can benefit from up to two call outs for home assistance and four for road help, while payment for alternative travel worth up to £100 to their destination will also be provided.
Alex Higgs, product manager at Confused.com, said: “As people’s purse strings are still tight, we want to help our customers save money, but also make their travel journeys as safe as possible.”
Mr Higgs explained those who take up the option to buy the insurance will therefore be safe in the knowledge they will not be left stranded by the roadside if they happen to break down.
The cover also provides accommodation for up to £60 per person for one night, while recovery is also offered for caravans or trailers up to 23 ft in length.
