Medical travel insurer talks about going on holiday with prostate cancer

During Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, AllClear, the specialist medical travel insurance provider, is talking about going on holiday with prostate cancer .

Prostate Cancer Awareness Month is part of the Prostate Cancer Charity’s work to raise awareness, promote early diagnosis and encourage treatment options.

Chris Blackman, Head of Product Development at AllClear explained: “Prostate Cancer affects over 250,000 men and their families across the UK and is the most common cancer in men. At AllClear we understand that when are you diagnosed with prostate cancer, part of the problem is the feeling that your life is put on hold and you can’t get on with the things you enjoy. This can include getting comprehensive travel insurance to go on holiday.”

Travelling without comprehensive insurance cover, could mean that people suffering from prostate cancer have no protection if things go wrong whilst they are away and they could risk huge medical bills abroad which can run into tens of thousands of pounds.
