The company will also donate five per cent of its profits to charity and offer drivers of fuel efficient cars a ‘low emissions’ five per cent discount. Drivers can also save money as the insurer is offering a 12.5 per cent discount if the insurance is purchased online.

The environmentally aware company also offers advice on how to be green and save money for example, by slowing down to 50 miles per hour, drivers will use around 30 per cent less fuel than when travelling at 70 miles per hour.
