Essential Travel teams up with Manchester Airport

EssentialTravel.co.uk, a holiday add-ons company, has signed a contract with Manchester Airport to provide travel insurance through the airport’s online Travel Extras Store at manchesterairport.co.uk.

Holidaymakers can purchase fully comprehensive travel insurance, with policies ranging from single and multi trip to winter sports and backpacker cover . It will also be possible to take out insurance on the day of travel .

Manchester Airport launched ‘The Travel Extras Store’ in April 2010 to include extras such as access to the airport’s Escape lounges, car parking, private jet hire, luggage tracking, overseas assistance in an emergency, car rental, hotel booking, flights, holidays and a park, stay and fly option which incorporates a hotel stay and car parking the night before travel.

Beth Brewster, Commercial Director at Manchester Airport, said: "Our online Travel Extras Store has been broadened with the addition of Essential Travel’s insurance, allowing us to give our customers a full range of holiday add-ons that many may not have thought about or forgotten to buy prior to going away."
