During the recession and as a result of travel chaos, there has been a surge in caravan sales. In response to this, Confused.com has launched a new comparison tool for touring and static caravans which mirrors its motor and home insurance products.
Caravan insurance is now on offer through the comparison website and allows customers to compare cover on a like for like basis. The tool provides access to a wide panel of caravan providers and is the first price comparison site that has a facility of this kind.
John Cooper, caravan product manager at Confused.com, said: "Caravan insurance has been the domain of specialists for too long. Customers can now find the right cover at the right price. Confused.com recognised the increase in demand for such holidays with people anxious to escape for a holiday but without the cash to go abroad . Adding caravan insurance to our already comprehensive suite of products enables our customers to obtain cover at cheaper prices to ease the financial pressure."
