Sainsburys Home Insurance has introduced a promotion that will give new customers the chance to pick up £50 worth of shopping and fuel vouchers .
Those applying for combined building and contents cover with a Sainsbury's Nectar card will be eligible for the coupons, which can be used inside Sainsbury's supermarkets and petrol stations .
The offer is available until July 5th and includes two years of double Nectar points and a 15 per cent discount, with customers able to get more money off if they apply online.
Sainsburys Home Insurance manager, Ben Tyte, said: "With the voucher offer and the double Nectar rewards, Sainsbury's shoppers could save themselves a significant sum on their shopping."
The company announced that it was to begin offering extra reward card points for a two-year period on selected Sainsbury's Finance products in October last year. Chief executive Neil Chandler suggested the move was in response to data showing that the majority of finance customers are not satisfied with loyalty bonuses offered by their providers.
