Direct Line offers home insurance discount

New customers buying buildings and contents policies together can get one-third off the cost of home insurance from Direct Line this autumn.

This promotion applies only to new customers, however Direct Line also has other offers for its existing customers. These include a 10 per cent no-claims discount, as well as a number of services available free at renewal, such as ID fraud assistance, home emergency cover, and increased cover limits. By purchasing their policy online, customers can also save up to 25 per cent off at directline.com.

Andrew Lowe, Head of Direct Line Home Insurance, said: "With summer holidays just gone and the Christmas season coming up quickly, everyone is looking for a chance to save some money . With Direct Line's discount on home insurance, customers could save money while still feeling safe in the knowledge that they are protecting their home and possessions by taking out cover with a dependable, well-known insurer ."
