Saga Insurance shortlisted for Moneywise.co.uk award

Saga Insurance has been added to the shortlist for an award from the finance magazine Moneywise.co.uk in recognition of its contributions to the insurance sector.

The awards, which are also a guide for consumers as to the best-performing brands in the current financial climate, have shortlisted Saga for both the Most Trusted Motor Insurance Provider and Most Trusted Home Insurance Provider as a result of 10,000 nominations.

Chief executive of Saga Insurance Andrew Goodsell said that the firm was committed to "doing things properly" and being a trusted brand was something they always took great pride in. Two of the major packages offered by the firm are Saga Home Insurance and Saga Motor Insurance, which currently insure more than two million individuals in the UK.

Publishing director of Moneywise.co.uk Jeremy King welcomed the news, saying: "Garnering consumers' trust in the current financial climate is no mean feat and we look forward to announcing the winners on 25th June."
