Eco car insurance provider ibuyeco, has improved its stance to enable policyholders to support a broader range of environmental projects when purchasing their car insurance .
The company has pledged to donate £5 to either the Woodland Trust, Borneo Orangutan Survival or The Converging World whenever a car owner buys a new policy or renews their car insurance with ibuyeco. Further, as the charity donation is completely funded by ibuyeco, consumers will be making a contribution to a green charity without seeing an increase in their premium.
Lucy Bailey, Senior Marketing Manager for ibuyeco, said: "Our customers told us they would like the opportunity to support a wider range of environmental concerns, including projects being carried out in the UK. The green agenda is now part of the mainstream and consumers are demanding products that are not only high quality and good value, but also environmentally responsible. The three chosen charities were selected by current ibuyeco customers in an email poll."
