More Than Home Insurance has launched a new policy which it says will "shake up the home insurance market".
The firm claims the new policy has been developed as a result of feedback from clients and aims to make the experience of buying household contents cover easier for customers by discarding the small print. More Than's new contents cover will now have two categories, cover for all contents in the home and cover for all household contents in the home and outside the home for up to 60 days at any one time.
Keith Maxwell, head of home insurance at More Than, said: "Our new home insurance is a great example of how we always seek to do more for our customers. With it we have sought to simplify cover and reassure customers by helping them better understand their protection."
Recently, Zurich and LV= have released research which suggests that people are cutting back on insurance cover in order to save money during the credit crunch .
