MedicAlert and insurance broker Heath Lambert have joined forces to give people living with medical conditions, disabilities and allergies a range of specialist insurance products.
People with these pre-existing medical conditions usually find it difficult to get personal insurance policies, such as travel insurance . The new range of insurance, which will be available as part of Heath Lamberts Unique Insurance Services, will allow people with medical conditions to buy travel, life, home, motor and pet insurance and pension annuities from a specialist provider.
MedicAlert is a registered charity and MedicAlert members wear a bracelet or necklace containing essential contact and medical information. Full details of the medical condition are held by MedicAlerts emergency response service and these can be accessed by healthcare professionals in an emergency.
A donation will be made to MedicAlert, at no additional cost to the purchaser. This insurance cover will be available to those suffering with the medical condition, their families and carers, as well as supporters of MedicAlert.
