The price comparison website Confused.com home insurance have made a new addition to their panel.
The ethical firm Protectyourbubble.com has promised that for every home insurance policy that is sold, it will donate £1 to the Child Poverty Action Group . Protectyourbubble.com policies will be available exclusively through Confused.com.
Peter Ablett, commercial director at Confused.com, said: "The website is keen to work with companies that involve charitable donations in their remit as well as providing consumers with a competitive service."
Confused.com have recently warned that there is usually a surge of insurance claims during the winter months. It advises that heating appliances which have not been used for a while should have a safety check, fireguards should be installed for log fires and chimneys should be cleaned. Boilers also need to be serviced as excessive heating and cooling can result in malfunction or even an explosion.
