New life insurance price comparison service from uSwitch.com

The independent price comparison and switching service uSwitch.com, is launching a new life insurance comparison channel.

Consumers using the service will be able to search the entire life insurance and critical illness market to help them find a suitable policy that is competitively priced. In most cases, by completing the medical and underwriting questionnaire online, customers will be able to put their policy on risk within 24 hours. However, there will also be an ‘Express Underwriting' telephone service available, which will allow some customers to get cover immediately.

With the new life insurance service, key features for each product will be displayed so that consumers won’t have to get further information from the provider’s website . There will also be continual reminders throughout the application process of the importance of providing complete and accurate medical details to make certain that the policy is valid should there be the need for a claim .
