TomTom teams up with Zurich Car Insurance

Navigation solutions provider TomTom and Zurich Insurance have formed a partnership to encourage drivers to think about concerns regarding safety and security .

TomTom owners will be offered £50 in M&S vouchers by Zurich when they buy their car insurance from the insurer, with a 10 per cent discount on their insurance if they buy online. The offer is available until 31 May 2008.

Zurich is offering drivers a TomTom ONE XL Europe Traffic portable satellite navigation system, at the promotional price of £179.99 - a saving of up to £50, when they take up a new insurance policy on the Zurich website.

According to research from leading independent Dutch research agency, TNO, drivers are more relaxed and feel less stressed when driving with a navigation device.

Our expertise in delivering direct insurance here in the UK will allow us to bring this important message to our customers."
