Tesco Travel Insurance confirms details of sale

People looking for cheap travel insurance in the new year have been alerted to news that Tesco Travel Insurance is offering a range of discounts until January 30th 2007.

During the sale period, all annual travel insurance policies arranged in-store will be discounted by 20 per cent, which could help people sort out their holiday financing plans.

Moreover, all single trip insurance deals are reduced by ten per cent and can be booked for a later date if the customer does not wish to travel immediately.

Allan Burns, head of Tesco Travel Insurance, said that he hoped the financial services provider's sale would take some of the stress out of financing a vacation.

"We all view travel insurance as the necessary and frequently expensive aspect of holidays," he said.

"By using efficient sales routes through Tesco stores, we are able to pass on savings to our customers, giving them more cash to spend."

Holidaymakers may also wish to take out specialist travel health insurance to provide cover for unexpected emergencies.
