New insurance discount from Liverpool Victoria

Liverpool Victoria Friendly Society is offering a discount on its home insurance and car insurance.

Customers who hold more than one insurance policy with the society will receive a five per cent reduction in each premium.

The discount applies to a number of policies, including motorcycle insurance, car insurance, classic car insurance, caravan insurance and home insurance.

Additionally, friends and relatives living at the same address can also take advantage of the discount if they have insurance products with the society.

New customers will receive the discounts immediately, although existing policyholders will receive the benefit at their first renewal.

John O’Roarke, managing director of Liverpool Victoria general insurance, commented: "This new offer will apply to thousands of existing policies as soon as they renew and it is our way of rewarding the loyalty of our policyholders towards our wide range of competitive general insurance products."

Liverpool Victoria claims to be the UK's largest friendly society, managing around £7.4 billion of its customers' money.

In addition to insurance, it offers a range of financial services, including savings and investments.
