Coventry launches travel insurance package

Coventry Building Society has introduced a new range of travel insurance products, aiming to offer customers a one-stop shop.

The travel insurance policy offers a variety of options, including single, annual or multi-trip and cover for a family.

Also, the policy can be tailored for individual needs, which the company states will prevent people from paying more than is necessary.

Furthermore, Coventry offers foreign currencies, travellers' cheques and an American Express card to travel insurance policy holders.

Peter Holding, financial services and insurance manager at Coventry, said: "We are delighted to be offering this new range of travel services.

"Everyone looks forward to taking a holiday, so whatever you're planning and wherever you're going, the Coventry will give you one of the best deals on your travel money and insurance."

He adds that customers can also save an extra ten per cent by applying online for their travel insurance policy.

Annual travel insurance policies may be useful for travellers taking a gap year, which recent figures from American Express show more UK residents are doing, with 155 per cent more over the last five years.
